Dr. David Chua

Dr. David Chua is the founder and director of this surgical center. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. A pioneer in Advanced Endoscopy, Dr. Chua was the first in Chicago to utilize a metallic enteral stent for malignant obstruction and the second into place a metallic stent within the esophagus. With over 30 years of experience, it is his mission to provide his patients with quality and cost-effective health care.

This facility has been totally remodeled and designed with high quality of care, safety and patient privacy in mind. It provides patients with comfortable outpatient setting. It satisfied all requirements from Illinois Department of Public Health and is a licensed ASC since November 5, 2012.

The surgical center uses best FUJIFILM gastroscopes and colonoscopes in procedures. They are of the highest quality to provide clear and detailed medical imaging. In addition to the technology of these scopes that allow the physician to obtain a clear picture for diagnosis, there are also improvements that allow the patient to have a more comfortable exam. Also, FUJIFILM scopes have a slim design, meaning that there is a small diameter to reduce patient discomfort as the scope is moved through the gastrointestinal tract.
